VAT is paid by Fans in the relevant countries, but does not impact Creator earnings. Creators still receive 80% of their earnings, regardless of where their Fans live.

If Creators are not VAT registered within the UK or EU, WorldFans pays the appropriate amount of VAT it collects from Fans directly to the relevant tax authorities. In this case, Creators with Fans who live in the EU or UK, provide their services directly to WorldFans for VAT purposes, rather than directly to Fans.

If your business collects VAT in the UK or EU see “Do Creators need to arrange VAT payments to authorities?”

If you have questions regarding taxes you must pay based on your earnings, consult an accounting professional in your country or state.
